DMCA Copyright Policy

1. DMCA Compliance Statement

DWG Viewer Online respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"). We are committed to responding to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and applicable law.

Important note: DWG Viewer Online is a client-side file viewer. Files opened using our Service are processed entirely on the user's device and are never uploaded to our servers. We do not host, store, or have access to any user-uploaded content. This DMCA policy applies to content that appears on our website itself (such as website content, documentation, or marketing materials).

2. How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content available on or through our website infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include the following information pursuant to 17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3):

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the infringing material. A description of the material that you claim is infringing, including the URL or other specific location on our website where the material can be found. Provide enough detail for us to locate the material.
  3. Your contact information. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Statement of good faith. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Statement of accuracy. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Signature. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

4. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. Your counter-notification must include the following:

  1. Identification of the material. A description of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
  2. Statement under penalty of perjury. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
  3. Your contact information. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Consent to jurisdiction. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  5. Signature. Your physical or electronic signature.

5. Process After Receiving a Counter-Notification

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward a copy to the original complaining party. If the original complaining party does not file a court action seeking a restraining order against the party that submitted the counter-notification within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed material.

6. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
